Our students finished our benchmark assessments on Tuesday. On Wednesday, our staff met in order to review the data that we collected as a result of the assessments and make decisions about how we can best meet the needs of individual students.
The students from each class who were the top lap runners during our Fun Run earlier this year earned a pizza lunch that we had on Thursday! The PTO provided the pizza, juice, and cookies for this lunch.
Thank you to all of our families who attended the Supper Club at Colonial Cafe on Thursday. Our PTO will received 15% of the profit from anyone who presented the restaurant flyer when paying their check!
Report cards were sent home with students on Friday! Students received grades in Fact Fluency in Math this quarter, but did not receive the second part of the math grade this time. I have included links to the letters, in both English and Spanish, that were sent home with students a few weeks ago explaining this. Students will receive the second part of the math grade starting in the 2nd Quarter. Since we are not having complete math grades this quarter, we will no longer be determining and distributing Honor Roll certificates.
Every student should have a set conference time for our Parent/Teacher Conferences on November 25th and 26th. Please contact your child's teacher if you have a conflict with your time or questions prior to the conference.
