First Week of School

Our staff and students had an enjoyable three days together this past week! Although we had some bumps in the road with busing, there were also many great opportunities for our teachers and students to start to establish routines here at school and get to know one another. Our entire student body gathered for an all school assembly on Wednesday afternoon and together, the students and staff developed three school rules. These rules include:
  • Be Respectful
  • Be Responsible
  • Be Safe
It is my belief that these three rules will enable us to maintain an optimal learning environment for all students to be successful in our school setting. During our assembly, students shared with one another and our staff examples of what being respectful, being responsible, and being safe looks like throughout our school, as well as, on the playground and while riding the bus.

  1. I wanted to thank you for riding along on Bus 5 yesterday afternoon. That meant a lot to this first time school Mom. My kindergartener, Ethan was on the bus and you talked to my babysitter. Thanks for caring so much about our kids! I was very thankful and appreciative of you going the extra mile!
